1. Where are you from?
- Columbia sc, but I went to High School in Memphis TN that's where I became "Me"
2. When did you fall in love with rap?
- On a Road trip with my dad from Charleston SC to Memphis TN when I was 11 we were listening to project pats ghetty green and Tupac's All eyes on me pt 1 & 2 the whole way then he had me freestyling over project pats album and he told me that I was blessed with rhythm even though I was saying much or even real words.
3. How did you start rapping?
- My big brother bought a studio in Canton Ga in 2012 , he took me there when I came home from the military November 2013 and had me write a verse to a song he said was going on his mixtape called "That Good pt 2" .
4. Who supports your career in music?
- My team "@SossHouse" , My family , especially the ones in Memphis , and anybody who gives my music a chance Gets surprised by how good the quality is because I really just started recording.
5. What made you buckle down and take music serious?
- When my best friend @PierreBourne moved to Atlanta to Pursue his music career and engineered my tracks so well it made me see my true potential.
6. What movie describes your music and life?
- "Juice" well the beginning where everyone is cool I'm like Bishop , but I'm the opposite when he was killing his best friends , I got a temper but my Bros are my Bros !
7. What was the first rap song you ever heard?
- I honestly don't know but I know the first song I loved was "No Diggity" by Backstreet ft. Dr. Dre.
8. What was the first song you wrote?
- Some Ole sap ass love song to a beat called "Stupid Bitches" hahaha it was pretty bad ...
9. What type of beats of do you like to rap over?
- Trap beats , Wavey beats, Or weird trap beats that my best friend @PierreBourne specializes in. #Nolovesongs
10. What type of artist are you?
- I wouldn't just call myself a trap rapper but i speak for the hood . I speak for the Streets , I am the Block so I just rap about all the things that makes me, ME . Anyone that knows me can honestly say I DO everything I rap about.
11. Where did you get your name from?
- Coop comes from my last name Cooper and my old plug from when I resided in Arizona always called me Coopxdeville because of my car . "Its a 07 Chevy impala on 22s so I didn't get it lol but it stuck with me ever since.
12. What producers fit your sound?
- Um first and foremost I'd have to say my in house producer @pierrebourne who just signed his first production deal S/o @djburnone. Then , Zaytovan , Metro boomin, TM88 , Sonny digital , Southside, Mike-Will-Made-it, Lex Lugar, Honorable C-note, Cassius Jay , Chill Go Hard , San beats , ShawtyRed I could go for days .
13. Do you like writing?
- Yea I write I feel like that's the way it should be done .
14. What is SossHouse? How did all you guys meet?
- Sosshouse = "Something Original, Something Special" @pierrebourne made it , We went to middle school together , Now 5 of us live under one roof . Our mission is to get the whole world to know who we are and to listen to our music , our tracks are like Lays potato chips. All it takes is one and you're gonna want more.
15. Are you ready for the next step in your career?
- Yes I'm ready to Turn up and work with all the producers I mentioned earlier. I know they'll fuck with my music and me as a person if they meet me .
16. How long does it take you to record?
- I usually practice my verses so that when I'm recording I don't have to read from my phone or pad so it doesn't take me long at all.
17. What do you want your legacy to be?
- I just want my daughter to be proud of me , I want her to see past what society tries to brainwash everyone to believe, I want to break the cycle so that she doesn't work for anyone . I'm gonna make sure I have a business or business's so that when is old enough to have a job she is her own boss.
18. Has someone ever killed you on your own song and you had to come back to fix your verse?
- Nope.
19. When is your project Product Of The Streetz" dropping?
- Very Soon , before the Summer
20. Which is more important a street presence or an internet presence? Or both?
- I say Street is more important because people on the Internet are people on the Internet and they flex . It means more if I ask you face to face to give my music a chance rather than asking through a tweet.
21. Is what your doing now going to benefit you 10 years from now?
- ABSOLUTELY . I've made so much progress in the short amount of time in my Rap Career , I know I'll be somewhere 10 years from now . I got too many believers rooting for me ! & I refuse to let them down.
22. What experiences in life have made you who you are today?
- Growing up in my hood "Newkastle" I seen the struggle I conquered the struggle , I am the Struggle . I know what it Means to be real , I seen friends turn fake and love turn to hate . I been out of my parents house since 17 before graduation and I still managed to graduate on time . I know that if something stops you its because YOU let it .
23. When everything is said and done what do you want GOD to say to you?
- "I understand why u did what you did my son and I'm not mad at ya"
24. What skills/personal attributes are most important to being successful?
- All I'ma say is Mama raised a Soldier, A natural Hustler.
25. Who are you?
- IM Coop de fuckin ville I'm sellin bales for the Profit huhhh!
