2. When did you fall in love with hip hop?
- Hip Hop has always been apart of my life.Even when I fell in love with sports I knew music was what I really wanted to do since a lil kid. My dream.
3. Why do you this?
- I do this so my family,friends and myself aint gotta ever worry about nothing else for as long as im here. Im tryna make up for all them shitty years.
4. Who are your influences in music?
- My influences in music are Cudi,my squad,my family,good weed,great sex,life pretty much. Everyday is a new day so everyday I get something new out of it and put it towards my music.
5. Describe your musical style.
- My musical style is WesDaBest. plain and simple. I cannot tell a lie in my raps. im me
6. What was the first song you knew from start to finish?
- This is hard but off the top of the dome I would have to sday it was T.i-Dope Boyz.That thang was crazzy. real A-Town shit.
7. When will you drop a new tape?
- I'm dropping a EP called ShoutoutToZay on New Years Day. 100%% Prod. by Zaytoven himself. just to get everybody warmed up for my official tape The Lyfe I Chose
8. What is G6ng G9ng and how did you link up with them?
- G6NGG9NG is a family.Those are all my brothers. I knew everyone in the squad for a good minute. We what the game been missing. We the new NWA!
9. What is your least favorite song that you have recorded?
- A song I did called Ramen Noodles. Its a classic but I didnt record it how I felt when I wrote it. its what separates me from everyone else. Yea i make the turn up shit but I can also transition into a track so real and so deep. its scary.
10. How long does it take you to record?
- It dont take me no time to record. I can knock a song out in 30 min. When im in the zone im workin.
11. Where do you think you fit in Atlanta music scene?
- I aint tryna fit in. Im tryna stand out.
12. How does what your doing now shape your next 10 years?
- 10 years from now ima be living well if I stay consisted and prayed up. I set a goal for myself where I want to be by a certain age.
13. What do you want people to get from your music?
- I want people to say my music changed thier lives.I want them to feel me on every song. I wanna live forever through my music.
14. Is there a such thing as a perfect beat?
- Hell yeah. however im feeling and if the beat match it I aint sparring it.
15. Who do you like collabing with?
- Anyone who really enjoy making music for bigger reasons. Shoutout to the Los3rz and the stupid NAWF
16. What was your first music name?
- WesDaBest is my one and only rap name. It was actually a nickname given to me by my nigga steve-o. it stuck in highschool and everyone started calling me it so I ran with it.
17. What is your recording process?
- my recording process consist of me prolly sparking up some good weed,sipping on a lil jack honey cus that's like our Kool aid,then I eat a honey bun for these munches cus them shits are amazing, then I roast the squad for a lil then I step in the booth and fuck shit up. But I don't need any influence to make a track.it just boost the feeling and adrenaline that I put in each song.ive never written a song while I'm stoned or drunk.
18. If you had to listen to one mixtape for the rest of your life what would it be?
- Damn this is very hard.. But it would have to be between no ceilings and Friday night lights,no ceilings is a classic period. and Friday night lights really motivated me
19. If someone had never heard your music before what would tell them before they listened?
- i wouldn't say much because I want them to get their own perspective of it but I would just let them know its real shit. True events.
20. What experiences in life have made you who you are today?
- ive made allot of choices in my life some good some bad and I've learned from each and every one of them. I let it be known in my music
21. When everything is said and done what do you want GOD to say to you?
- I want God to tell me simply well done. You've successfully lived your life the way I planned it out for you using the talent I gave you.
