When did you fall in love with hip hop music?

When i first heard Lauren Hill and The Fugues for the first time. Then later my father introduced me to Jay- Z, Nas, and Mos Def, but the 90's hip hop era is where everything clicked like: "Yo the soul in the music felt so real."

How do you want to be remembered as an artist?

As an artist who always told the truth and someone who never sold out. I also want to be remembered as a legend and not someone who came and went.

What was the first song you knew from start to finish?

I cant remember the exact song but i always listed to Jay-Z " Black Album". That album to me is still one of my favorites, and the experience i got listening to that album was incredible.

How did you make the transition from being a video director to an artist?

It wasn't a hard transition or easy one but as far as directing, it's a longer process. Working with KD Gray we try to take all our visuals to the next level; so with him bringing his A game, and me bringing mines it takes the pressure off.  Now when it comes to Recording music i'm always challenging myself to take things further... Pushing the envelope but overall I find ways to balance both.

Since your an artist and a video director is it easy for you to tell other directors your vision for your video?

Yeah, I'm confident in my work so telling a director who has more experience than me is never a problem. This also allows me to grow and learn and at the end of the day i'm still a student of the game.

If you had a choice what label would you sign to and why?

I don't really know which label i'll sign to and i'm not to pressed on a record deal. The situation and offer has to be right; I just don't want to be signed to anyone because i feel i have something unique to offer.

What advice can you give someone who wants to either start music or directing videos?

Truly have a passion for whatever you want to pursue in life, keep GOD first, begin chasing that dream, educate yourself, and keep working towards perfecting your craft.

How did you get with Royal Rich's clothing?

The director (Charles), and I went to school together and one day he called me up asking for my thoughts on the clothing line, and i genuinely was down with vision. He actually thought i was sponsored by another fashion Brand called Simple&Splashy but i just have close relations with the director (Kevin), "Shout out to Simple&Splashy by the way." But Charles explained to me how he was a fan of my music and the rest is history.

What are three words you can think of that describes your music?

Um... Unheard Talent, Artistic, and for the people. "I'm not sure if those count but that's how i really feel"

If you had to listen to two albums for the rest of your life what would they be?

"This may be hard but i'll go with"... Miseducation of Lauryn Hill x Drake - Thank Me Later

Explain your new single " Okay"

Okay is the new motto. The song was inspired by my team because they been here keeping me motivated and i just had to let them know that everything will be okay. Also its to inspire anyone who feels discouraged with life, or maybe just need something to get you through the day... This is the song to listen to. I promise

When everything is said and done what do you want GOD to say to you?

Well done.
