Roger Rebel is a member of the teen rap collective BJF. His mixtape "unWanted" has been out for a few weeks now and I got a chance to talk to him in this new interview.

1. Where are you from?

  - New Orleans, Louisiana.

2. What was the first rap song you knew from start to finish?

 - So Fresh, So Clean by Outkast x Block is Hot by Lil Wayne x Back Dat Ass Up by Juvenile.

3. How did you figure out your sound or are you still figuring that out?

 - I'm still figuring it out but since I'm so young I can't be tied down to one.

4. Does being in school help or hinder your music?

 - Hinders it, because I'm always tired so I don't have time to write a whole song. I just write in pieces.

5. Why did you choose to name your project "unWanted".

 - It's suppose to be a story line. My third tape will be called "Most Wanted". In "unWanted" I made a lot of references to my mom and not feeling wanted by certain people in my life.

6. What is your favorite track off "unWanted"?

 - Time To Rebel

7. How long did it take you to record your tape?

 - 1 and a half months.

 8. Who in BJF do you like collabing with more?

  - JayThaDon x Just'Shadd

9. Where do you think you fit in BJF?

 - Shadd and I are like the founding fathers of the group so they look at us as the leaders but I try not to think of it like that. But I look at as a founder.

10. Who influences you in music?

 - Big Pun x Kendrick Lamar x Earl Sweatshirt

11. Besides music what are your other hobbies?

 - I'm young so right now its being around girls and having fun.

12. If you had to listen to only one mixtape and one album for the rest of your life, what would they be?

 - The album would be Section.80 by Kendrick Lamar and the mixtape would be Kush and Orange Juice by Wiz Khalifa.

13. Who supports you in this life?

 - Ra'shadd does because he brings me up when I'm saying I want to quit.

14. Did you always want to be a musician?

  - No I actually wanted to be a music video director because I hate when videos and the songs don't match.

16. What experiences in life has made you who you are today?

 - Gaining knowledge and wisdom.

  - Somebody who has dreams to accomplish. 

18. When everything is said and done what do you want GOD to say to you?

 - That I went about mostly everything the correct way.
