In this installment of "Rookies Of Atlanta: I got to interview the up and coming duo "Brinks Life".
1. Where are you from?
J'Majesty: Born in Harlem, got down from day 1 on Putnam between Ralph and Howard in Bed-Stuy.

Naj Mullah "A lot of people don't kno this but me an j'majesty are blood brothers. I know light skin dark skin is what you thinking hahahaha. But we both from Brooklyn, Ny. Putnam ave till the death. But we been residing in the A for 9yrs so it's a second home no doubt".

2. What was the first rap song you heard?
J'Majesty: Aghh I couldn't give you an honest answer to that one, but the first rap song that had an influence on me I would say a Fab freestyle off of one of Clue's Desert Storm mixtapes

Naj Mullah "Keep it 100 where I'm from and being born in the 90s it's BIG of course. I would say one more chance featuring Faith Evans".

3. Why did you start rapping?

J'Majesty I started using music as an outlet for the life I wanted to live as opposed to being in school and ending up with a generic 9-5.

Naj Mullah "Shit I can't front, music videos as soon as i seen one when i was young, I was like yooooo dats me one day".

4. Where did the name Brinks Life come from?

Naj Mullah My bro is to credit for that. I was in NY he was in da A, and he hit my phone as said "yo Naj dis shit is BrinksLife from now on" been down to ride for that name and brand since that call".

J'Majesty . While watching Inside Man and listening to beats I thought it would be a creative way to talk about money rather than saying outplayed terms like "cheese", "paper", "bands".

5. What was the first album you bought?

Naj Mullah "Fabolous street dreams the one wit him in da blue mink on top of da whip. Dat was some playa shit hahahaha

J'Majesty Growing up in Bed-Stuy I listened to alot of Fab as a new artist so I don't know if I'm reaching but I think me and Naj might both say Streets Dreams by my dude Fab shoutout Street Fam

6. If you could listen to one album for the rest of your life what would it be?
J'Majesty: Kanye West Graduation the 3rd one was a classic to the trilogy

Naj Mullah "Shiiiit my shit Social Battle Ground Dropping top of da year 2013".

7. Do you have a motto?
J'Majesty: I think when the fans look at our videos on youtube they kind of associate us and Brinks Life till the next life together, or shoutout to my nigga Quan You Knowww #WEGOTEM

Naj Mullah "Don't stress it, finesse it hahaha".

8. What rapper do you want to meet?

J'Majesty Right now at this current moment I would say Jay-Z just to ask him the whole truth about everything in his life

Naj Mullah  "Shit really any nigga in da game on a get money and my team gettin money type shit. A nigga who really just fuck wit my music

9.Do artists need to have a online influence or a street influence to make it?

J'Majesty: In Atlanta you need every single type of promotional outlet to the complete max to strive because so many people are rapping

Naj Mullah "Really it's both it ain't a secret that right there is the key plus the ground it takes to get both of those".

10.When everything is said and done what do you want GOD to say to you?
J'Majesty: It's funny that you ask this because one of my favorite gospel songs is Well Done by Deitrick Haddon, I just want to hear him say Well Done you can come on in
Naj Mullah "That what I brought to the table is enough".
