Freshmen Of Atlanta Interview W/ @WeAre_MoneyGrip

1. What does the name Money Grip mean?

 -  The group name Money Grip really means that we chase the money and once we get it we grip it.

2. Why did you start rapping?

 - Dre Porter starting rapping/singing his senior year at Frederick Douglass High School where he found the passion for music. Flyerr start rapping when he and his friends use to rap during school and come up wit songs which people liked so he found a passion for it. Young Play started rapping to follow his dad footsteps because his dad was a rapper.

3.how long have you been rapping?

 - Dre Porter 8 years, Flyerr 6 years, Young Play 8 years

4. How did you guys meet?

 - We all been knowing each other for a while, and we all were in different groups and our groups weren't serious, so one day we all called each other to go to the studio and make a song. We all felt that the vibe was right between us so we decided to become a group Money Grip.

5. What collaborations have you guys done that you liked the most?

 - We have done the collab with The Lady Rich Kids for the song Mr. Get You Right and an collab wit K.A.P to the song City Girl.

6. Who do you guys want to collab with in the future?

 - Anybody who are serious about their craft and mostly all the top artist in the game.

7. Do you listen to anyone else while recording?

 - No while we are working we are focusing on our project listening to other music will get us distracted.

8. Who did you guys like working with the best?

 - We would say some of the producer such as KpOnDaBaet WillAFool Yung Lan and Dj Plugg.

9. What do you do on your off time?

 -  On our off time we go hang out with friends and family and have a good time.

10. Has anyone surprised you as being a fan?

 -  No not yet not that we know yet.

11. Would you date a fan?

 - No because they will want to be with us for the wrong reason.

12. What's the craziest thing a fan has done?

 -  The craziest thing fans have done to us was chase the car as we left our show.

13. Where do you see the group in the next 5 years?

 - Still grinding and pushing for that top spot.

14.What experiences in life have made you who you are today?

 - Some experiences are seeing some of the people were we come from make it, so we want to do the same and build a good name for our self.

15. When everything is said and done what do you want GOD to say to you?

 -  First we would want to tell GOD we love him and thanks for our blessing, and We would want GOD to say that we deserve every blessing you are receiving.
