Up Close&Personal With - Dreeme's Steve Johnson

Dreeme is a new clothing line that was started by Atlanta rapper Steve Johnson and I had a chance to interview the rapper/clothing designer.
1.What does "Dreeme" stand for?
 - Dreeme stands for "Do Realize Every Emotion Motivates Evolution. Whatever you go through in life should make you strive for better and be better no matter the situation your in good or bad.
2.Where did the idea to start the clothing line come from?
 - I've always wanted to deal in fashion. I just didn't know the right way to go about it. So I began trying to design and put my ideas on paper and it started from there.
3.Are you the only one that works on the line?
 - I'm head of the line, its my baby so i'm careful who's involved at the moment, but I do have a small team building with specific job within the line.
4.Who creates the designs?
 - The first few designs you will see were created by me or from one of my visons.
5.What stores do you want your clothing line to be in?
 -Mainly urban boutiques at the moment.
6.Beside clothing what else are you doing?
- I'm still doing my music as well. Song placements and working on my tape that I plan to drop called "Love And Lies"
7.Who do you look up to in fashion?
 - I don't really look up to anybody. I respect a lot of the known designers but i'm trying to get my name out there and you can't do that without going against the grain.
8.Who is on your iPod?
 - Of course myself, MoneyMakinNique, UGK,Young Bo,Translee,Zip Kennedy, and B.Rossi, indy all day.
9.What are some of your favorite lines?
- Some of my favorite lines are Pink Dolphin, Obey,Love Before Glory, Naetive, and Paint The Stars
10. Who do you want to see in your clothes?
 - All the beautiful people. Anybody who has a dream that they feel like it can be reached weather its through expression or determination.
11. When everything is said and done and your walking up to the Pearly Gates what do you want GOD to say to you?
 - I hope he says I fulfilled my purpose that was set out for me and that I impacted lives along the way. Respect is a big thing to me so when i'm gone, I hope others will have respect for me as a person, designer, and rapper.
