Money Trill is one of the premiere artists from 5th Street Ent. After I posted his "All About A Check" mixtape his manager took time to contact me for this exclusive interview between me and him.

1. Why do you rap?
 - I like music from when I was younger, so why not make my own.
2. What was the hardest song you ever had to write or record?
- "Tell Me Why" a song off the next mixtape. I lost some close friends, and there is a lot of real stuff going on in my lyrics to that song.
3. What experiences in life made you who are today?
 - My mom did Federal time, my oldest brother is in the fed, my other brother doing state time , been cheated on, hated on, and some of my friends even turned on me.
4. How did you get with 5th Street?
 - We started out as Rich Kids, and then we decided to part ways. So I chose to go with my cloe friend Rashad aka Rich Kid Shawty.
5.What would you be doing if you weren't rapping?
- I'll be in the street 9 to 5, grinding doing whatever it takes to feed my family.
6.Who are your top 5 rappers dead or alive?
 - Andre 3000, TI, Jeezy,Rick Ross, and Kanye West
7. How did you get your name?
 - Used to run the streets a lot and my pantas started calling me Trill, and then I just added the "Money" to the front of it because i'm all about a check.
8. How do you want your lyrics to affect people?
 - A lot of my music and lyrics are easy to relate to. I'm not out here talking about something that i'm not doing. So I want people to see the struggle I had to go though to get where I am at now. And I still haven't made it fully yet!!
9.How did you get the name for your latest mixtape" All About A Check"?
 - Its a way of life that me and my friends live by, so I decided to make it into a mixtape.
10.Who are your biggest supporters in you doing your music?
 - A few real friends that been around since day one, and my brothers who support me behind the walls.
11. If you could change anything about your past what would it be?
 - Take my ass to school, instead of being in the streets.
12. What 5 hip hop albums do you consider a classic?
 - T.I I'm Serious, T.I Urban Legend, Young Jeezy TM103; Hustler Ambiton, Young Jeezy:The Recession, and Jay- Z and Kanye West: Watch The Throne
13. When everything is said and done and your walking up to the Pearly Gates what do you want GOD to say to you?
 - Come on in son, you made it home.
